Eat Heal Glow! 

I love this simple tofu recipe. I make it often, as I am a tofu craver!!! It can be made gluten free by switching the panko to gluten free panko, which is equally delicious. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1. 1 block of extra firm Twin Oaks Tofu cut into 16 triangles

  1. 1 flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flax-seed mixed with 3    tablespoons water)
  2. 3-4 tablespoons of hot sauce plus more for dipping.
  3. ¾ cup of regular or gluten free panko breadcrumbs
  4. Celery sticksc

Pantry Staples:

1-teaspoon garlic powder divided

1-teaspoon onion powder divided

1-teaspoon sea salt divided

½-teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 tablespoons coconut oil for pan-frying

Preparation:

First mix up the flaxseed and water to make your flax egg. Add the hot-sauce and ½ of the onion powder and garlic powders. Dip the tofu triangles into the hot sauce mixture until thoroughly covered.

Mix the remaining seasoning with the breadcrumbs. Coat the tofu with the breadcrumb mixture and pan fry with the coconut oil in a hot non-stick skillet.

Serve with additional hot-sauce and celery sticks. Enjoy! XO
