Umeboshi Plum Cauliflower Steaks 

Eat Heal Glow 


1 head of cauliflower cut into  steaks about 1/3 inch

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons Umeboshi paste

1 teaspoon Braggs amino acid

juice of ½ lemon

1 tablespoon mirin

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard


1 tablespoon nutritional yeast or hempseeds (optional)

Salt & Pepper to taste

A pinch of chili flakes (optional)



Whisk together all of the ingredients for the marinade. Pour into a bowl or a zip-lock bag and coat evenly. Roast in a 400 oven for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast, salt, pepper and chili flakes.
