Carrot Melon & Mint Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with beta-carotene and crazy amounts of vitamin C that will give you that lovely dewy glow! The basil is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, and adds a unexpected and delicious flavor. The mint helps with digestion and headaches and contains iron and vitamin c. This concoction is also delicious juiced over ice. Enjoy! XO

Ingredients:
Juice of 1 lime
¼ cantaloupe
2 carrots
4 basil leaves
4 mint leaves
ice
Optional * chia seeds, 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Preparation:
Peel the carrots if they are not organic. Otherwise just slice them or shred if you do not have a high-speed blender. Add all ingredients except ice to the blender and mix until smooth. Add about ¾ cups of ice and mix until frothy. Serves 1. Enjoy!!!
