 Chocolate Peanut butter & Oatmeal Power Balls

1 cup of nut butter (I use 1/2 almond butter and ½ peanut butter) the natural kind from whole foods.

¾ cup cacao

2 cups old fashioned rolled oats (more if using liquid sweetener)

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds

2 scoops JP Complete protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)

¾ cup of honey, maple syrup, brown rice syrup, coconut palm sugar or agave

1-2 teaspoons stevia

1 teaspoon Mexican vanilla extract

Pinch of baking soda


Place all ingredients in a food processor or use an electric mixer. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated. You may need a little more or less oatmeal depending on the sweetener you choose. (if too thick add a tiny bit of water) Form small balls about the size of cocktail meatballs. Roll in coconut or walnuts if desired. Place on parchment covered cookie sheet. Freeze and enjoy!

  • They look and taste great rolled in some finely minced nuts. Enjoy!!!
